This scenario based eLearning program will provide employees with the knowledge and tools required to develop or improve and implement a Work Place Harassment and Violence Prevention Program (WPHVPP) that fulfils legislative requirements.   In 2020, the Work Place Harassment and Violence Prevention Regulation (SOR/2020-130) under the Canada Labour Code came into effect. It outlines the employers’ responsibilities to develop and maintain a WPHVPP, and the requirements of a policy and program, which includes training for the employer and their employees. Learners will work through several scenarios and case studies as they become familiar with and apply the regulation. This program is applicable to employers and employees under the Canada Labour Code. Learners will have 2 attempts to complete the final test and must achieve a score of at least 80%.
