This eLearning program provides an introduction to the fundamentals of auditing and how to apply these principles while performing the COR® Audit. It focuses on auditing concepts that are common to all organizational audits while using material and examples specific to the COR® Audit process. Topics such as health effects of overexposure to silica, legislation and guidelines, and control measures will be explored in detail.  Learners will have two attempts to complete the final test and must achieve a score of at least 80%.   Silica Control Tool for the construction industry coming to Ontario Nov. 3 Beginning Nov. 3, workers and employers in Ontario's construction industry will be able to access the Silica Control Tool, its associated data, and outputs. Originally developed by the British Columbia Construction Safety Alliance (BCCSA), the tool has been fully customized to meet Ontario's occupational health and safety standards. The tool ultimately identifies processes that may lead to silica exposures over the allowable exposure control limit, provides information about how to bring the exposure within the allowable limit, and produces a corresponding Exposure Control Plan (ECP) for the user.
